Los Angeles Clippers Notes, Quotes 2009-03-10
--It might be too soon to state that the Clippers absolutely won't break their record for most starting lineups used in a season. Against the Pacers on Saturday, the Clippers featured three rookie starters, and they now have had 28 lineups in 63 games. Last season, Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy used 39 lineups in 82 games. The only Clipper currently on the roster that has not started a game is recently acquired Alex Acker, who began the season with the Pistons.

--The Clippers shot 50 percent from the field against Indiana, which marked only the seventh time in 63 games that they have accomplished that feat. Conversely, the Clippers have shot under 40 percent from the field 17 times. The Clippers have ranked last in the NBA, throughout the season, in field-goal percentage. They rank 28th, among the 30 teams, in free-throw percentage.

--Clippers rookie guard Eric Gordon has scored in double figures in 41 of the team's 63 games. All the more noteworthy about that statistic is that Gordon came off the bench as the backup to veteran Cuttino Mobley in the Clippers' first 13 games.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "Me and my pop were really tight. I think about him all the time. But he's in a better place now, and he's not suffering anymore." -- Clippers F Zach Randolph, addressing the recent passing of his father back in Indiana.
