Los Angeles Clippers Notes, Quotes 2009-11-07

Los Angeles Clippers Notes, Quotes 2009-11-07--All 12 players got onto the basketball court in the Clipper win over the Warriors on Friday. The fact that the Clippers were comfortably ahead for most of the contest may have influenced head coach Mike Dunleavy Sr.'s decision to use all of his bench guys, but it still should have been good for team morale for little-used players like Steve Novak to get into the game with their chance to do something positive.

--C Chris Kaman has been stellar in the six games he's played for the Clippers in 2009-2010. He poured in 22 points and pulled down nine rebounds in Friday's win over the Warriors and has been able to score in various ways on the offensive end, from face-and-shoot long jumpers to post-up baby hooks and give-and-go dunks. And on the defensive end, the Central Michigan product has come up with his fair share of blocks. Kaman's remarkable production early has helped the Clippers stay competitive while injured 2009 No. 1 overall draft pick Blake Griffin recovers from a left knee injury, and every time Kaman scores 20 or more points and snares 10 or more rebounds, the team should be in a good position to win games.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "He's got this great touch, but he was always very reluctant to shoot it... His tendency has always been to put the ball on the floor and try to get closer and power his way in." -- Clippers head coach Mike Dunleavy Sr., on Chris Kaman's development this year.
