Los Angeles Clippers Notes, Quotes 2009-11-18

Los Angeles Clippers Notes, Quotes 2009-11-18--G/F Kareem Rush was shaken up by a play inside in the first quarter of Tuesday's game with the Hornets. After cutting to the middle of the lane and receiving a pass from teammate Chris Kaman, Rush was fouled from behind by New Orleans's Marcus Thornton and fell to the floor, clutching his right knee. It appeared Rush was injured as he elevated toward the basket, and he didn't return. X-rays were negative, but his status for Wednesday's game is uncertain.

--C Chris Kaman continues to attempt to force the action whenever an opponent applies more than a little pressure to his dribble. Kaman dominated New Orleans's Emeka Okafor (scoring most of his 17 points against Okafor's defense) until the Hornets started double-teaming him, which led to turnovers on a travel and a rushed pass into the middle of the court. He might need to work on handling defenses gearing up on him during practice to avoid panicking when the games that count are played.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "Just trying to post up (and) be aggressive (while) attacking the basket." -- Al Thornton on how he had so much success scoring in the first half against New Orleans Tuesday.
