--F Steve Novak finally appeared in a game. Late in the third quarter of Saturday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks, Novak subbed in and subsequently missed a desperation shot at the end of the quarter.

--C DeAndre Jordan shuffled his feet for a turnover and committed a three-second violation in the second quarter of Saturday's loss to the Mavericks. He will need to avoid careless mistakes if he wants to develop as a player while garnering significant minutes this season.

--G Rasual Butler showed great hustle in the third quarter against Dallas. He chased after a missed shot on offense and almost gained another possession for the Clippers, and if he can continue to do the little things, then the Clippers will be able to turn to him for something besides offensive firepower off the bench.
