PLAYER NOTES: --G Baron Davis had trouble staying in front of Houston's speedy Aaron Brooks. The Rockets guard repeatedly blew by Davis for lay-ups, either in transition or in half-court sets, on his way to 22 points.
--G Sebastian Telfair was very effective as soon as he entered the game. Within the span of a couple of plays, he stole a dump pass into the post and drained a sky-high jumper, finishing with six points and an assist.
--G/F Ricky Davis showed great hustle in some rare extended daylight. He penetrated into the paint and made a textbook assist pass to Craig Smith for two, before hounding Houston's Aaron Brooks into a turnover on the other end, and ended up with three points, two rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes.

--G/F Kareem Rush (torn ACL in right knee) is out for the season.
--F Blake Griffin (stress fracture in left kneecap) is out until at least mid-December.
--G Eric Gordon (sore left hamstring) is day-to-day.
