ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jason Hart, Shooting guard Eric Gordon, Small forward Al Thornton, Power forward Brian Skinner, Center Marcus Camby. Bench -- Guard Fred Jones, Guard-Forward Mardy Collins, Forward Steve Novak, Forward-Center Paul Davis.
PLAYER NOTES: --C Marcus Camby was as visibly upset as he has been all season when the final seconds ticked off the clock in the loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Camby was muttering to himself as he walked angrily off the court.
--F Brian Skinner has given the Clippers the equivalent of a starting pitcher in baseball that merely eats up innings but does not strike out many batters and has a so-so won-loss record. Skinner has provided the Clippers with a physical body inside and veteran experience on the floor but his rebounding and scoring numbers merely are pedestrian.
--G Jason Hart was the Clippers' starting point guard during the final 22 games of the 2006-2007 season. With starting point guard Baron Davis unable to play against Phoenix, Hart got his first start in nearly two years.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Baron Davis (bruised tailbone) was unavailable for the game against Phoenix. Davis originally was injured Dec. 30 against Sacramento but was able to play through the pain of back spasms the following night against Philadelphia.
--G Mike Taylor (fractured right thumb) continues to wear a cast that runs up to his right forearm.
--C Chris Kaman (plantar fasciitis left foot) remains sidelined indefinitely.
--G Ricky Davis (tendinitis left knee) faces a five-day suspension when he is able to return in mid-January.
--F Zach Randolph (strained left knee) will be out for at least another two or three weeks.
--G Jason Hart (tendinitis right elbow) suffered a flare-up in the first quarter against Phoenix.
